City of Airdrie

In the winter months the Airdrie Festival of Lights brings families and the community together with Western Canada's largest, free outdoor display of Christmas lights.
Education in Airdrie
There are two divisions that cater to over 7,000 students in Airdrie. Rocky View School Division and the Calgary Catholic School Division. Families also have the option of The Ecole francophone d’Airdrie, a French public school for kindergarten through grade 12. Rocky View School Adult Learning offers residents support in basic math, reading, english as a language and computer skills.
